Become a volunteer and play an important role in making Something To Write Home About a memorable experience.
Something To Write Home About is the inaugural grassroots, citizen-initiated Singapore arts festival in New York. We depend largely on our passionate and committed volunteers to help out for 10 extraordinary days of celebrations and creativity. As a volunteer you'll be part of a team that meets the public, greets audiences at venues and engages visitors in the spirit of the Festival. Our volunteers are the hosts of the Festival, welcoming guests into ‘our home.’
Experience is not needed but a passion for this celebration is a requisite. All volunteers must be 18 years or older. Please note the Festival is not able to cover any volunteer expenses. If you’d like to be involved, please get in touch with us.
If you’re accepted into the volunteers program, we’ll ask you to sign a basic agreement. At the end of the festival, you’ll receive a Certificate of Participation and a festival t-shirt as a lovely memento.
